About USAMedAlert™ Monitoring |

The heart of Independent Living System™ is The USAMedAlert™ Response Center.
In the late 1980’s our founder, Bernie Leonard, designed and built the 1st Central Station in the Chicago Metro area dedicated to serving the residential market. On the cutting edge of technology, the Station was designed to receive point-by-point information from each sensor installed at the customer’s premises. Years ahead of it’s time, this technology is still not used by some Central Stations today.
The USAMedAlert™ Emergency Response Center is housed in a secure 10,000 square-foot facility. We are fully listed with Underwriters Laboratories and are regularly inspected to ensure that we meet or exceed all government standards.
All calls in the USAMedAlert™ Emergency Response Center are recorded, using “Next-generation” video capture systems that include voice and visual recording of our Care Specialist’s as they work with you. This gives us an audio and video archive of all events.
USAMedAlert™ Care Specialists have an average of 7 years of experience and have dispatched well over 2,500,000 emergency calls over the past 25 years. That’s the difference.
